Cynthia Frelund

Cynthia Frelund is NFL Network’s first on-air analytics expert and can be seen across a variety of NFL Media shows and platforms. During the week, Frelund can be seen on NFL Now, Fantasy Live, Power Rankings, Game Day View and on Sundays on Game Day Morning as the only female analyst alongside Rich Eisen, Steve Mariucci, Kurt Warner and Michael Irvin. Last season, Frelund hosted popular Game Theory + Money Podcast with Matt “Money” Smith.

Frelund’s proprietary data analytics model - which she coded herself - gives her a one-of-a-kind view into football analytics and statistical projections. Frelund continues to pioneer innovation in sports data and analytics through a variety of platforms.

Frelund joined the NFL from ESPN, where she was a Predictive Analytics Analyst for two years focusing on the NFL, college football, NFL and NBA drafts, MLB, golf and horse racing. Prior to that, she served as a business development manager for Disney ABC Television Group and a finance analyst for the NFL.

Frelund graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Biology in 2005 before receiving her MBA in Finance, Entrepreneurship and Innovation and then continued on with an MS in Predictive Analytics at Northwestern University.
